After making rave reviews with 'Gangs Of Wasseypur', director Anurag Kashyap is turning his talented energies towards his next project titled 'Ugly'.
Keeping up with the title, 'Ugly' revolves around an alcoholic woman who gets back with her ex-husband after their child gets kidnapped.
The film is said to re-launch Tejaswini's dull career, who was last seen in Mani Ratnam's movie 'Raavan'. Incidentally the sibling of Padmini Kohlapure had debuted on big screen with Kashyap's 2003 unreleased 'Paanch'.
What's different about 'Ugly' is that the director is not keen about Tejaswini playing the typical filmy alcoholic character; instead he wants her to maintain the authenticity. For this, the actress has to do homework, to get the right body language and drunkard's attitude.
Ronit Roy, after 'Udaan', will play the main lead in 'Ugly'. As a matter of fact, both Tejaswini and Ronit apparently have never met each other before. So 'Ugly' would serve as the first common platform for them.
