Amrita Rao as a journalist

It's no news that Sunny Deol's next movie is Anil Sharma's 'Singh Saheb The Great'. It was also said that Amrita Rao will be featuring as a journalist in the film while hunt was on for the leading lady to play opposite Sunny. However of late buzz is that Amrita actually has been confirmed to play the female lead.
 
According to sources, Amrita's role runs parallel to Sunny's character throughout the film. Talking about her character, Sharma said that they wanted a powerhouse actress who looked beautiful and petite yet strong in her attitude and aggression. And Amrita seemed to have been fitting the role perfectly.
 
In order to prepare for her character in the film, Amrita these days is said to be observing journalists around her.
 
'Singh Saheb The Great' will go on floors in Jalandhar shortly, in this month.
