Latest update on the remake version of 'Zanjeer' is that the team is going to shoot a special track for the movie.

Starring Telugu star Ram Charan Teja and Priyanka Chopra, the new Apoorva Lakhia's 'Zanjeer' has its shooting going on full swing. Early next year in January, they are going to shoot a promotional song.

The film's producer Amit Mehra (son of late Prakash Mehra, director-producer of the original) clarified in an interview that the song won't be remixed version of any songs from the earlier version.

A remake of 1973's Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and Pran, the new 'Zanjeer' also features Sanjay Dutt reprising the role of Sher Khan (played earlier by Pran) while the Telugu version has Sonu Soon playing the character.

The next shooting schedule is slated to go on in mid-November in Hyderabad and then another one in December in Mumbai.
