Maryam Zakaria has moved on from lending a cry of love for her 'Pritam Pyaare' or wondering whether it would be right to call her 'Dil Muft Ka'. It is time for her to look at bigger and better prospects in Bollywood and that is starting with a lead role in 'Grand Masti', sequel to immensely popular 'Masti'.
For this Iranian-Swedish actress, model and dancer who came to India and 2009 and has pretty much based herself in Mumbai ever since then, Bollywood has pretty much proven to be a roller coaster ride, what with acting assignments coming in addition to the item numbers that kick-started her foray in front of the camera.
"Guess what, the very title 'Grand Masti' itself is so funny", gleams Maryam who has wrapped up a major portion of the film already, "There has never been even one second on the sets of the film where we have not been laughing, either in front or behind the camera. The film has turned out to be immensely crazy."
While there are five other girls in the film, namely Manjari Fadnis, Karishma Tanna, Sonalee Kulkarni, Bruna Abdulla and Kainaat Arora, Maryam is paired opposite Aftab Shivdasani in the film.
Others in the cast are Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi who, just like Aftab, are continuing from where they left in 'Masti'.
