Kapil Sibal pulls poetic trigger on Bollywood

Who said politicians don't enjoy casual and creative life... This news will prove them wrong. India's Telecom Minister Shri Kapil Sibal has shown his interests in the big glittering world of Bollywood by extending his poetic talents.

Yes the renowned politician turns poet in his leisure time and has two collections of poetry under his name and this secret hobby of his landed him in a film project.

Courtesy actor- director Aditya Om, Kapil Sibal was inspired to write a song exclusively for a film titled 'Bandook'.

True to its title the film revolves around the gun culture that inhibits North India and its connection between crime and politics. According to sources, Aditya had challenged Kapil Sabil to write four songs and out of which one has been used in 'Bandook'.

The song in question is said to be a romantic number that reflects the pangs of separation of two lovers.
 
Releasing this 18th Jan, 'Bandook' stars Manisha Kelkar, Arshad Khan, Ashish Kotwal, Gauri Shankar and Virendra Singh besides Aditya Om.
