The 2008 released 'Bhootnath' is joining the sequel bandwagon as well...

The film which was directed by Vivek Sharma, will be now helmed by Nitesh Tiwari, of 'Chillar Party' fame. According to Tiwari, they are considering giving a new title to the 'Bhootnath' sequel and they are yet to finalise the cast.

The director however clarified that they won't be taking the original film's story forward, instead it be altogether a fresh story.

As of now, the team is waiting for Amitabh Bachchan to lock his dates for the film, after which they will start the shooting.

Starring Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla, 'Bhootnath' had Big B playing the title role, as a ghost.
