Mika Singh irked with Honey Singh's popularity

IndiaGlitz [Wednesday, January 30, 2013]

The latest "in" song "Punjabiyaan Di Battery" of 'Mere Dad Ki Maruti' has been garnering a lot of appreciation as listeners enjoy the two popular voices - Mika Singh and Honey Singh - coming together for a Bollywood film.

But apparently, Mika is annoyed with Honey Singh for taking all the limelight for the song.

Said a source, "In all his songs, even ones featuring other singers, Mika has always been the star. He is doing very well in his career and is secure about himself. But perhaps because Honey Singh's popularity is growing in India as well, he is being noticed more than Mika in the song."

Apparently, Mika and Honey have known each other for over five years. In spite of repeated attempts, Mika remained unavailable for a comment.

The song "Punjabiyaan Di Battery" is shot on lead cast Ram Kapoor, Saqib Salem and Rhea Chakraborty. Bannered under Yash Raj Films, 'Mere Dad Ki Maruti' is directorial debut of Ashima Chibber.
