UTV Motion Pictures ode to friendship and brotherhood under the leadership of Abhishek Kapoor recommended by Chetan Bhagat's best seller '3 Mistakes of My Life'  has achieved a superstar status at Indian box office by registering a whopping 65 percent opening..

Once again cementing the believe that good content driven by smart promotions can do the same magic on Friday as those popular faces do or even better them sometimes.

According to the initial trends received from the market and production house the opening is believed to be around 70 and has even touched around 100 per cent mark in markets like Maharashtra, Mumbai city, Gujarat, Pune, Bangalore, Calcutta, Rajasthan.

North India is comparatively weak with around 45 per cent and good numbers are coming from Delhi.. Obviously the industry is glad that a non star cast movie has got the jump due to sheer content and fine filmmaking.. the word of mouth is most likely to be positive and the trends is expected to turn in handsome results for all.

Director Abhishek Kapoor is humbled by the proceedings and shares, "I'm humbled with the opening numbers. It's really heartening to see my film being appreciated."
