Looks like fans of the 'Rock On' star have to wait for some more time to see him musical action... Farhan Akhtar was expected to be seen performing a live concert with one of the most popular band of U.S 'Deep Purple'.

The concert, that was set to take place at Khatmandu on the 15th March, unfortunately has been pushed ahead.

The March 15 concert of the Deep Purple at Dasarath Stadium in the capital has been postponed. The next date of the concert hasn't been fixed as yet.

It's been long that audience has seen Farhan performing live after his film 'Rock On'. After two years of gap the multi-talented actor will be giving a live concert along with Deep Purple. It will be a treat to watch them perform live. The actor is very excited and energised to deliver one hell of a show.

'Deep Purple' has a number of hits including "Shadow of deep purple", "Fireball", and "The house of blue lights". The band was established in 1968 and currently consists of Ian Paice on percussion, Roger Glover on bass guitar, Ian Gillan on vocals, harmonica and percussion, Steve Morse on guitar and Don Airey on organ and keyboards. Deep Purple have sold over 100 million albums worldwide, including 7.5 million certified units in the US alone.
