Nawazuddin Siddiqui wins Special Jury National Award!

Talented actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who will be next seen in Suparn Verma's supernatural thriller 'Aatma', is surely on cloud nine! The actor, who had played pivotal roles in 'Kahaani', Talaash' and 'Gangs Of Wasseypur', bagged the Special Jury National Award for his work in the three films.

In 'Kahaani', Nawaz was seen playing the role of a no-nonsense Intelligence agent whereas in 'Talaash' and 'Gangs Of Wasseypur', Siddiqui played the role of a lame hustler and a crime lord respectively.

Nawaz will be next seen in Suparn Verma's 'Aatma', which also stars Bipasha Basu and Doyel Dhawan. The supernatural thriller, which is produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak, is slated to release this week.

The film is a story about a single mother, who must protect her daughter from the vengeful spirit of her deceased husband.

A graduate of the prestigious National School Of Drama (NSD), Nawaz made his Bollywood debut in 1999, with a small role in Aamir Khan starrer, 'Sarfarosh'.
