ollywood stars Dharmendra and Hema Malini Monday put an end to speculation about a rift between them as they sat together to hear President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam's address to a joint sitting of parliament.
Though they arrived separately at the Central Hall of parliament, venue of the presidential address, Hema, in an elegant grey-blue sari, left her seat in the third row and joined her husband at a rear row soon after he walked in.
While Hema is a member of the Rajya Sabha, Dharmendra was elected to the Lok Sabha for the first time from Bikaner constituency in Rajasthan on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ticket.
Hema, who actively campaigned for the BJP in the general elections, had, however, kept away from Bikaner.
And that coupled with Dharmendra's decision to give his first wife's name in the nomination paper after first leaving it blank had triggered media speculation that all was not well with the couple.
On Monday, however, all appeared to be well between the two. They were joined by Bollywood colleagues Jayaprada and Shatrughan Sinha, and the four were seen chatting and laughing.
