Yash Johar still critical
IANS [Saturday, June 26, 2004]

The condition of noted film producer Yash Johar, remained critical for the seventh day Friday.

"There is minimal change in Johar's condition," said Narendra Trivedi, vice-president of the Leelavati Hospital, where Johar has been on an artificial life support system since June 20.

He was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital June 19 with a severe chest infection.

Johar had been operated on for an enlarged prostrate three weeks ago.

His son Karan Johar, director of the controversial film "Girlfriend", has been at the hospital ever since his father was admitted there.
