Actor, Director and Now Storyteller

As per the agenda, Orient Longman had children as their prime importance when the idea of inculcating the love of reading along with thorough enjoyment was brought into practice.

Orient Longman brought out a very good and exciting method of learning which would be very famous among kids. They had launched a series of story books and also a set of CD of animated interactive stories for young children.

And to get this exciting series out in the market was present Bollywood’s most promising actor Aamir Khan himself. Aamir turned out to be the perfect story teller of the evening as he launched the series on 1st March 2008, at Nehru Centre, Mumbai.

Same Language Subtitling a method brought into notice which involves media programmes in the same language and script as the audio being played. A series of animated stories are featured in the similar manner which would enhance a child’s passion of reading and learning. Also when the script being flashed as the story goes entertains a child much more and makes him more interested to learn more.

As per parents opinion, they feel reading happens immediately and automatically with this and this is educative too. And of course when we have such a great storyteller the interest is to be at its highest.

Aamir played the perfect storyteller, where everybody remembered him for his excellence in “Taare Zameen Par”, and supported the idea completely by being there and praised the concept of children taking their eyes off the so called idiot box and learn to read independently.
