The Punjabi girl whom we admired in ‘Love Aaj Kal’ isn’t a Punjabi at all. She’s a 19-year-old Brazilian model Giselle Monteiro who can’t speak Hindi. Director Imtiaz Ali didn’t want to let out that a Brazilian was playing his Punjabi kudi and put off the min set of the audiences. In the film, she’s the one who is wooed by the Sardar Saif.
