The Telugu version of Jodha Akbar was released in the city yesterday on the occasion of Shivratri. The premiere show was held at PVR cinema here. Fans of Hrithik and Ash and media persons thronged the place to get the most of the lovely couple. The twosome looked charming and cheerful through out the evening.

Director Ashutosh Gowariker spoke of how they had translated the film into Telugu and how they managed to retain the differentiation that the original had in terms of Hindi and Urdu, even in the Telugu version. Mona Shetty, who took upon the task of coordinating the dubbing artistes was present too, along with Hyder Ali who had written the story and Nitin Desai, who had done the sets, et al. Others present included Sonu Sood and Suhasini Muley.

All the cast and crew spoke about now excited they were about the Telugu version and answered all the queries in great detail, within the stipulated time. Then, they took for a small promotional event to return to watch the film along with their fans and audience.
