Bipasha Basu talks about the movie and her character in it.  She said that as a Bengali girl there had been a lot of expectations from the audience especially from Bengali people. She wanted to a Bengali film most importantly for her parents, for she wanted them to be proud of her and they always wanted to her a Bengali film.

When she went to Kolkota for the shooting, she was very scared thinking as to what she is getting into, for she was completely new to the Bengali industry. But instead the shooting turned out to be a super fun. She had the best time in eating and was really spoilt by being offered with variety of Bengali cuisine.
