Sharmila Tagore and her daughter Soha Ali Khan were at the press meet for their movie ‘Life Goes On’. The event was held at the on-going MAMI Festival.

The movie is loosely based on Shakespeare's play King Lear and is a directorial debut of Sangeeta Dutta. ‘Life Goes On’ tells the story of a father, played by Girish Karnad, and his three daughters, of which Soha is one. Sharmila Tagore plays the role of his dead wife who occasionally appears in the course of the movie.

Sharmila Tagore and Soha Ali Khan have shared the screen for the first time in this movie.
