CRY (Child Relief and You) is doing admirable work for the upliftment of underprivileged children. It was heartening to note that a stalwart like Amitabh Bachchan came forward to launch the book 'A Poem for Cry' which is a compilation of 86 poems, each the choice of an eminent Indian acting as an emisary for child rights. Big B recited a fabulous Hindi poem 'Jeevan ki apadhapi mein' by his illustrious father Harivansh Rai Bachchan. The evening was also graced by a beautiful rendition of a poetic song by ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh. But it was nine year old Sara Tendulkar who generated maximum claps for a special poem she recited for his legendary father Sachin Tendulkar. This is a poignant video which is a collector's edition.
