It was an eventful moment for Chennai Mozart A R Rahman when he was felicitated by the iconic singer Suseela recently at hotel Marriott in Hyderabad. While she endowed him with a golden crown, the famous Dr C Narayan Reddy bestowed him with the title ‘Sur Shahenshah’. Rahman’s mother wore a ‘swarna kankanam’ for her son’s wrist. Sharing his thoughts, Rahman said that he adores Suseela and added that it was during his struggling days that the Telugu music makers Ramesh Naidu, Raj, Koti who gave him the break and he will always be thankful to them.
