Rakshanda Khan walked the ramp for Shivangi designs on 17th october 2005 at ITC Grand Maratha

Shivangi, the product of two creative and inspired women Alpa and Reena, showcased its latest collection in their first ever solo showing last evening at the ITC Grand Maratha Sheraton for the coming festive season. As the evening progressed Anup Jalota walked in with Medha while Talat Aziz mingled with friends. To keep the temperatures soaring Gauri Tejwani, Riva Babbar and Sumit Sachdev made sure they turned heads and Tanaz Currim, Shubhavi, Kishen Mulchandani, designer Arshiya & husband Rij and Preeti Bedi kept company among other well wishers. The fashion show started with enthralling music as Shamita Singha, Dippanita Sharma, Aditi Gowatrikar, Alecia Raut, Mridula Chandrashekar, Kavita Kharayat, Tejaswini Kolhapure sashayed down the ramp in beautifully crafted silhouettes and styles in chic salwar kameezes, corset stylized blouses with sarees and skirts- a range of Indian and Indo western embellished prêt and couture creations. The ramp sizzled as Reshma Bombaywala shimmered in a deep red, sindhoor colored saree on the catwalk and the piece de resistance was when the gorgeous Rakshandha Khan made a grand entry in a doli and stepped out like a coy bride and made sure she was cheered as she sizzled the ramp.
