Pop/R&B singing sensation Bobby Moon is a first generation American-born Indian. This young talent has spent the last few years working under US record label Goldman Records. He has compiled an impressive catalogue of songs featuring several prominent US artists and producers which he has been promoting throughout the US and UK.
In May of 2005, word of Bobby’s talent traveled thousands of miles to the land of his cultural roots. He signed a recording contract with India’s #1 Music Company, T-Series, which released his debut album, The Rising, in January 2006.
Bobby’s talents were also featured on N.R Pachesia’s latest movie, Jawani Diwani: A Youthful Joyride, Emraan Hashmi and the sexy Celina Jaitley. Bobby has written and performed the title song for the movie, which is a monumental accomplishment in that he is the first US artist to ever perform the title song in a major Indian Film release. Bobby Moon’s debut album, The Rising, features a mixture of both English and Indian tracks that showcase his versatile style and singing ability.
His first single Sundari is a dance track that has Bobby singing in three different languages -- English, Hindi, and Malayalam. This song is definitely unique and something to look out for in the near future. The rest of the album is a compilation of all English songs and several fusion (English/Hindi) tracks, including a couple very hot Indian remixes to popular Hindi songs O’Mere Dil Ke Chen and Mere Sapno Ki Rani.
With his first album release under T-series, Bobby Moon looks to totally revolutionize the music scene in India. His unique vocal style, writing, and performance ability along with his exotic appeal and charming personality are just a few of many assets that will ensure this young star’s rise to success. |
