 Bhram marks the return of director Pawan Kaul whose last movie Sssssh…. didn’t fare too well at the box office. The movie has been very much in talks for the constant rift between the prime artists-Milind Soman and Dino Morea who were both once dating Bipasha Basu.
Sssh.. marked the debut of Kajol’s sister Tanisha Mukherjee likewise Bhram brings in new talent in the form of model turned actress Sheetal Menon. The music of the film has been credited to two composers, primarily Siddhart-Suhas and Pritam. The lyrics have been penned by Irshad Kamil and Kumaar.
The album opens with 'Jaane Kaisa Hai Tu' crooned by Shaan’s reverberating and youthful voice. The lyrics isn’t great but the hook of the song lies in its ‘ooh o ooh’ factor which has become so common with a large number of tracks.
‘I am a bad boy’ is the right track that is sure to hook you onto the melody. The track might just sound a little weird on its first hearing but with the amount of promotion it won’t be easy forgetting this number. The track carries all that passion and is more of a rave party number. The track composed by Siddharth-Suhas brings in some great voices like Suraj Jagan, Earl D'Souza, Sunaina and Khushboo Jain.
 ‘Meri Ankhiyaan’ brings in Richa Sharma to a very appealing track. The track has elements of melancholy, pain, distancing between two hearts etc. The track has been well rendered with a very folkish feel. Richa Sharma draws you easily towards emoting oneself and the track indeed appeals.
“Teri Aankhon Ki Narmi” has been rendered by the talented duo of Siddharth and Suhas. Their voices are impressive with disco orchestrated beats. The track though isn’t the finest around with a similarity drawn to the ‘Shana na’ track from the Priyanka Chopra-Lara Dutta Andaaz.
K.K. is brought to the beats of 'Lagdaa Naa Lagdaa' . K.K. croons effectively with tones of a soft rock number. The track appeals to the masses and a good video is sure to boost the value of this track.
Finally the album closes to the best track of the album ‘Jaane Kyun Tanha Ho Gaye’. After a long time Sonu Nigam renders splendidly. The track has been sung with utmost passion and zest. The track has already been in the news now for the wrong reasons. Apparently, Pritam has plagairised the track; the original being Gautam Chatterjee's Bengali song, 'Ghare Pheraar Gaan’.
On the whole, Bhram brings in a variety of appealing tracks. Don’t expect the compositions to matchup to Rehman’s standards or so, but the music is just apt. Siddharth and Suhas emerge as promising composers; worth looking forward to their next release. ‘Lagdaa Naa Lagdaa’, ‘Bad Boy’ and ‘Jaane Kyun Tanha’ are quite impactful and are sure to be hummed over and over again in the days to come provided the movie is promoted well.
