    IndiaGlitz  [Wednesday, June 18, 2008]

A funny, engaging, fairy tale kind of story awaits you in the film 'Goodluck'. The core of the movie lies in the belief of luck.
The main thread of the movie is how the element of luck if for real can change the fortunes of a person by making him a king a day and the very next day changing him into a penniless nomad.
The character called Vicky played by the new actor Aryeman is a singer who dreams of making it big someday.

Although he tries very hard, somehow or the other good chances never comes knocking at his doorstep and he remains as he was before.
The case of Saba played by Sayali Bhagat who is the head of the PR in an advertising agency is entirely the opposite.

She is always surrounded by the best of opportunities and always finds her at the right place at the right time.

The reason for Saba's good days is because she has the good luck charm sealed in her kiss.
The story takes a turn when Saba unknowingly kisses Vicky at a party.

The lucky charm that she has in her kiss is transferred to the side of the unfortunate Vicky.
Vicky in no time finds that his bad days have become history and everything happening in his life is turning out to be great.

Lucky Ali who plays the role of Tarun Chopra, a music baron gets the taste of Vicky's talent and signs him for a project.

Vicky had been waiting for this day for so long.
Saba's life turns into a nightmare after the luck deserts her.

She loses her job and ends up in the street.

That's when the character of the tarot card reader played by the versatile Archana Puran Singh enters the picture and tells Saba that she can get her good luck charm if she is able to kiss Vicky again.
Now Saba gets confused as when Vicky kisses her he was wearing a mask and now she has to find who the person who kissed her was.
Between her searches she meets Vicky and falls in love with him not knowing that he was the guy who took her lucky charm.

The day she realizes that Vicky is the guy who possess her lucky charm, she selfishly takes the lucky kiss back.
Bad times fall on Vicky and his music band and they start to struggle again.

But the call of true love is hard to withstand and Saba finally seeing the man she gave her heart struggling makes up her mind to give him the luck back and make his dream come true.
The film's several twists and hilarious moments are provided by the characters of a police officer played by Sharad Saxena, a jiglo brought alive on screen by Ranveer Shorey and the hardhearted boss of Saba played by Naszeen Patel.
The film is directed by Aditya Datt and produced under the banner of J K Films and Om Films by Jagdish Sharma and Karan.
The music is composed by Anu Malik and lyrics by Sameer.
The cinematographer in charge is Sabastian and the choreographer is Shabina Khan.
