 After a period of 8 years, Yash Chopra once again dons the directorial garb to bring us a love legend… a tale of love, courage and integrity.
The film aims to bridge the differences between people in India and Pakistan through a touching love story between an Indian pilot and a Pakistani girl.
Even though a major part of the movie has been completed for quite some time now, Chopra had not revealed its title. But now it is confirmed that the title of the movie is Veer-Zaara.
Sounds unusual title for a movie? But it is not.
Veer-Zaara recounts the epic tale of an Indian man, Veer Pratap Singh (Shahrukh Khan) and a Pakistani woman, Zaara Hayaat Khan (Preity Zinta) - a story of a love so great that it knows no boundaries.
It is also the story of Saamiya Siddiqui (Rani Mukerji), a Pakistani lawyer who tries to break the barriers separating the two.
The music of Veer-Zaara will be released in September. With lyrics by Javed Akhtar and music composed by the legendary late Madan Mohan, this album is sure to give music lovers a much-awaited bouquet of timeless melodies.
The movie is expected to hit the theatres in the second week of November.
