 Is this merely an address? Or is it someone's dreams? Is it just someone's dream? Or is it a much more by being someone's LIFE itself?
Writer-director Aparna Sen brings to screen the story of a woman called Mitali [Konkana Sen Sharma] a.k.a. Meethi who is in search of the place where her family lives - 15 Park Avenue. But before we get into the search, who exactly is Meethi?
Meethi is the younger sister of Anjali [Shabana Azmi] and daughter of Rewa [Waheeda Rehman]. Since Meethi was born when Rewa was well past her prime, some pregnancy complications resulted in her being born as both mentally and physically challenged. She was schizophrenic as well as epileptic and it was difficult for her to survive on her own due to which she always required support from people around her.
While Anjali was highly educated and worked as a Physics professor in a University, Meethi too managed to be a journalist with a publishing house. She also got engaged to a young man called Joydeep [Rahul Bose] a.k.a Jojo, inspite of Anjali's reservations about this relation due to her physical/mental condition.
But this is when tragedy struck!
 In one of her assignments as a journalist, she became victim of repeated rape that aggravated her schizophrenic state. It soon became a point of not return for her and her only emotional anchor, Jojo, too left her.
Her life became complete listless and purposeless!
Her mental state became such unstable that she had to be even admitted to an asylum. She came back home too but things didn't show any signs of improvement. In fact now she stayed in her own world and started believing that she was indeed married to Jojo and had 5 children from him. Where did the entire family stay?
15 Park Avenue
And now she wanted to find the house and meet her family at any cost!
Looking at her condition, it was proposed by her doctor that the entire family should take a break and go to a peaceful place for a holiday. Off they go to Bhutan and as destiny would have decided, they come face to face with the person who was the epicenter of Meethi's existence - Jojo.
 But things had now changed in Jojo's life too. He was now happily married and was the father of two. On meeting him, Anjali was worried about the reaction that Meethi may have on looking at Jojo. But surprisingly she didn't recognize him at all. Instead she soon became friends with her and went on to tell him her 'life story'!
A 'life' that comprised of 'her' Jojo and 'their' five children. And one address - 15, Park Avenue.
Now she wanted both of them to together search for this place, which never existed in the first place. Anjali knew this, Jojo knew this but for Meethi this was the place that meant LIFE for her.
Would Jojo betray her the second time around? Or this time he would try to get her LIFE back?
Would he be really successful in doing this as her LIFE was in a place that never EXISTED in the first place?
How would the search culminate for Meethi?
Also starring Dhritiman Chatterjee, Kanwaljeet Singh and Soumitra Chatterjee in pivotal roles, '15 Park Avenue' is an address that can be reached in theatres across country coming Friday!
