'Paan Singh Tomar' is a success story from the past and 'Saheb Biwi aur Gangster 2' is all set to go on floors. With the continued association of Irrfan Khan and Tigmanshu Dhilia that started from the days of 'Haasil', one is heard making a common refrain that the duo should be seen more often. However not many are aware that before 'Paan Singh Tomar' happened, there were as many as two films that the director-actor had planned with each other, before they were shelved due to unforeseen circumstances.

"Yes, in fact there was a strong bond that had been formed between Irrfan and me during the 'Haasil' and 'Charas' days. This is when I started working on this film called 'The Story of a Porn Filmmaker' with him. Unfortunately the producer ditched us and we could never resume it. Then there was this other film called 'Ghulami' that I was making with Sunny Deol. Again, Irrfan was a part of it and I worked on the pre-production for close to one and a half years. We even shot for 3 days but then unfortunately the producer fell from a height and broke every bone in his body. That movie too got shelved", reveals Tigmanshu.

Later when he completed 'Paan Singh Tomar' with Irrfan, it unfortunately was stuck with the producers for a long time before being finally unveiled last weekend.

"Thankfully now we are being acknowledged as a team", smiles Tigmanshu, "I can promise that there won't be any more aborted projects."

On his part, even Irrfan is sure that he isn't going to let go off Tigmanshu's side.

"Mera bass chale toh main Tigmanshu ki har film karoon. I keep telling him that he should have a role for me in each and every film of his", smiles Irrfan.

We are sure audience won't mind that either! Now if only the team could revive 'The Story of a Porn Filmmaker', it could well turn out to be one mega treat in the offering.
