Chris Hemsworth Welcomes a Baby Girl

Chris Hemsworth is a dad! The Avengers star's wife Elsa Pataky gave birth to a little girl on Friday - and they named her India. ""We love the country and love the name,"" Hemsworth told USA Today.

Hemsworth, 28, and Pataky, 35, first met in 2010. They then tied the knot later that year in December.

Little India is the couple's first child. ""Having the person that you love by your side, and starting a family with them, is the best thing that can happen to you in this life,"" Fast Five actress Pataky said shortly after announcing her pregnancy. ""You can't ask for more.""

What a sweet present, and just in time for Mother's Day too!
