Anil Kapoor-"Ekta, Karan and Adi are the kind of people who make our industry"

IndiaGlitz [Friday, June 15, 2012]

In a career lasting over three decades, he may not have worked with Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra even once.

Also, he may be doing his first film with Ekta Kapoor ('Shootout At Wadala'). Yet Anil Kapoor believes that there are more like this trio needed in the industry. "Frankly, Ekta, Karan and Adi are the kind of people who make our industry.

Ekta is so hungry for good work; she is very hardworking and passionate. You need such people in the industry because they understand it's functioning so well. Also, they know how to manage things around and give audience high quality cinema. This is why when an opportunity like 'Shootout at Wadala' came my way, I went right into it.

I was sure that this would be a correct combination", says Anil Kapoor.Well, we too hope that the combination indeed delivers.
