After Sridevi and Hema Malini, it's the turn of yet another beautiful, veteran actress Jaya Prada to step into producing movies.
 
Although she was not seen much in B-town, Jaya Prada had been active in regional film industries namely Bhojpuri and Malayalam.

Talks are that Jaya is planning to try her hand as a producer, by launching her own production house.

According to sources, the actress is preparing to make Mumbai as her home and purchased a posh house and an office as well. However, she will be first producing a Bhojpuri project after which she will move over to Hindi films.
 
Sources revealed Jaya Prada will be producing a film that will be the remake of 1993 Telugu well-acclaimed film 'Matru Devo Bhava'.

While she has bought the rights of the film, it will be directed by Dinkar Kapoor, who earlier had assisted Abbas-Mustan in 'Baazigar'.
 
Jaya Prada is said to be acting in the remake along with Manoj Tiwari, who will be playing the actress's alcoholic husband's role.
