After Nemo, Make Way For Dory

IndiaGlitz [Thursday, April 04, 2013]

Andrew Stanton is keeping busier than ever before. After making a loveable 'Finding Nemo' and a classic 'Wall E', he is now occupied with the sequel to the former. Titled 'Finding Dory', the animation film is already in the making. What's more, it also has a release date set as November 25th, 2015.

The film is following the Hollywood studio approach for the major biggies where a target date for arrival is set before a film goes on floors (in this case, animation studios). Moreover, with the film carrying immense curiosity, especially since it is one of those rare sequels that is spaced out from the first part by more than a decade, there is a bigger responsibility factor involved.

However given the fact that none less than Disney and Pixar are at the helm of affairs, one can safely assume that this winter release would find some good marketing and promotional plan set for itself. Though as much as two and a half years still remain for the film's release, one can also expect a teaser or two thrown around at regular intervals.

In fact the makers have already done the needful by releasing the official logo of the film. Moreover, the gist of the film has also been revealed. This time around the plot would move away from Nemo and instead focus on adventures of Dory, the helpful if somewhat absent-minded Blue Tang from the original movie.

Though Andrew Stanton didn't really earn many brownie points for his work in 'John Carter', one can safely assume that 'Finding Dory', despite being really far away, should keep the flag high for the filmmaker who has also been associated with the likes of 'Toy Story', 'Monsters Inc.' and more as a writer.
