Maatraan Preview

The super hit 'Ayan' combination of Suriya Sivakumar, KV Anand and Harris Jayaraj is back, this time around with 'Maatraan' a high voltage action entertainer. The film stars Suriya and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles.

As soon as the film went on floors the biggest talk of town was of how many characters Suriya will play in this film. While some debated that he will portray five roles many argued he will be seen in three different roles. However it was later expressed that it will be a Suriya against Suriya, for he will be seen with both positive and negative shades in this flick!

Suriya even went ahead and got his hand inked in three places, that of a shooting star and two more symbols for 'Maatraan'. If sources are to be believed there's an item number by Isha Sharvani and there are five tracks in the movie, each belonging to a different nature.

The team shot in various locations including Pakistan border, Latvia, Russia, Croatia, Serbia, Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, the US and many more places.

KV Anand has adopted performance capture technology for some of the action scenes in the film. Earlier Superstar's 'Kochadaiyaan' had announced that they are the first Indian film to use this technology but Suriya's 'Maatraan' broke this record.

With a technically strong crew and promising cast and a novice script 'Maatraan' is definitely one of the biggest projects this summer and is touted to be Suriya's biggest film in his career. Promising several dimensions, 'Maatraan' will grace screens in the fag end of June or early July.
