The first film from the family banner of icon of Kannada cinema Dr.Rajkumar is releasing after his demise. That is 'Arasu' produced by Smt.Parvathamma Rajkumar. Puneeth Rajkumar, Ramya, Meera Jasmine, Shreya, Srinivasamurthy, Darshan and Aditya are in guest role of this Mahesh Babu directed film that has music by Joshwa Sridhar.

I am indebted to my family, people of Karnataka and media for supporting me in all the seven films said Puneeth Rajkumar at the media briefing at Green House restaurant. Meera Jasmine and Ramya my senior colleagues have done very well in 'Arasu'. The role of veteran actor Srinivasamurthy is also splendid in the film. Before his death my father Dr.Rajkumar had heard this story and four songs of the film 'Arasu'. To reach this stage today in films I owe a lot to my elder brother Raghavendra and Shivarajkumar said Puneeth in his address.

Another film releasing on 26th of this month is Adhi Lokesh's debut as hero in 'Poojary'. Kabbur Cine Creations maiden venture of producer Mohan Kumar and Mallikarjun stars Neetha in the lead. Adhi Lokesh shot in to fame from Bidda role in 'Jogi' has been a villain on Kannada screen. He is now trying to shift to hero role from 'Poojary'. M.R.Seenu is the cameraman and Abhiman has scored the music. Thara, Chitra Shenoy, Muni, Ramesh Bhat, Yathiraj, Reshma are also in the cast.

Sharan of experimental films like 'Kullara Loka' and 'Dr.Ambedkar' is the director of this film.
