The sitting Member of Parliament and union minister rebel star Ambarish is the newly elected President of Kannada Cinema Artists Association. The election was held on December 14th in RV College Bangalore.

Dr.Vishnuvardhana, and Dr.B.Saroja Devi are the honorary Presidents. V Ravichandran, Shivarajakumar, Upendra are Vice Presidents, Rockline Venkatesh, Raghavendra Rajakumar, Srinivasa Murthy, Jai Jagdeesh are the secretaries, Shivaram is the treasurer. Srinath and Jayanthi are advisers, Thara, Anu Prabhakar, Vijay, Rangayana Raghu, Sadhu Kokila are the committee members.

Actor Doddanna is in charge of the Artists Association of building that is coming up in Chamrajpet.
