Veteran comedy and supporting artists of Kannada cinema Shani Mahadevappa, Akki Channabasappa, Rathnakar, Bangalore Nagesh and ailing Renukaprasad were honored with Rs.10000 and the usual shawl, garland and fruit basket by ‘Jugari’ Kannada film producer Ramesh of CM Associates and director of the film SD Aravind.

It was an occasion to remember the contribution made by the contemporaries of well known comedian Hasyachakravarthi Narasimharaju as the three from the third generation of Narasimharaju (director SD Aravind, Avinash Diwakar and Master Samarth) have made debut in ‘Jugari’ Kannada cinema.

Smt.Nagalakshmi Puttanna Kanagal, Smt.Sharadamma Narasimharaju honored the veteran on stage.
