Towards the fag end of 2011, Arulnidhi's 'Mounaguru' hit theatres. While there was no much ado about this film as it released, the movie slowly started gaining momentum gradually. And today (January 09, 2011) 'Mounaguru' has steadily strode past its 25-day mark.

This film which unravels the incidents of a normal college going guy has turned out to be yet another sleeper hit of 2011, garnering much praise for its director as well as the hero of the film, Arulnidhi. In the past week 'Mounaguru' ran houseful in some of the multiplexes in the city, while some films with popular stars just had a few seats occupied for most of the shows.

Arulnidhi is quite happy with the way this film is being received by the audience. The actor is choosing his future roles with much care and caution. The actor, it is also believed, has inked a new film with a popular director. 'Mounaguru' is directed by Shantha Kumar and has music by Thaman. The film is produced by Mohana Movies.
