A popular filmmaker in Kollywood, Tollywood and Mollywood, looks like Gautham Vasudev Menon is set to explore Mollywood soon. If sources are to be believed, he will start a Malayalam film soon, which will have Jayaram in the lead.
"Gautham is almost ready with the script. He will make an announcement once he is done with Neethane En Ponvasantham, his first trilingual, which he is directing in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi simultaneously," say sources.
It is expected that the director's maiden Malayalam venture would be released in Tamil as well, considering the popularity of Gautham and Jayaram in Kollywood. "Other details are being worked out," add sources.
While Ilayaraja is scoring music for 'Neethane En Ponvasantham', A R Rahman is expected to compose music for Gautham's Mollywood debut. Recently, Gautham recorded a couple of songs for 'NEP' and was so thrilled about working with the 'Isaignani' for the first time.
