The prestigious Sri Raghavendra Chitravani awards for a producer and journalist this year goes to senior producer HN Muddhukrishna and senior journalist RG Vijayasarathy who has over 30 years of stint in cinema and sports journalism.

RCV awards instituted 11 years ago on the occasion of silver jubilee of Sri Raghavendra Chitravani a film news publishing organization was evolved by late DV Sudheendra who worked for 1000 Kannada films as PRO and set a new standard in giving publicity to Kannada films.

On the 35th year of existence Sri Raghavendra Chitravani was joined by many individuals and institutions to give awards in memory of the kith and kin.

Along with RCV awards on 24th May evening at The Bell Hotel the awards are received by photo journalist Praveen Nayak, playback singer Smt Chandrika Gururaj, director Joe Simon, veteran actress Hema Chaudhary, music director Arjun Janya, director Nagashekhar, dialogue writer of Sarathi Kannada cinema Chintan, debut director to Jayathirtha of Olave Mandhara, Ghouse Peer upcoming lyricist, veteran actor Ashwath Narayan will be presented on the evening by KFCC President KV Chandrasekhar.

Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy Chair person Thara Anuradha, Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana, Sa Ra Govindu, Kannada Film Producers Association President Munirathna Naidu are attending the Sri Raghavendra Chitravani 35th annual day celebration.
