Director cum producer Manju Maskal Matti drawing strong inspiration from Tamil film 'Raman Thediya Seethai' for his 'Gowriputhra' has completed the post production and is brimming with happiness as 65000 copies of audio CDs were  sold in the market. The success of the audio is the first major point for the film 'Gowriputhra' says Manju Maskalmatti.

The film 'Gowriputhra' starring Akshay and Nikita Tukral in the lead roles with Nivedhitha, Roopika, Manasi, Sowmya Sankalp, Nagashekhar, Rakesh Sharma has completed the DI for the film.

A sincere boy goes on telling the truth to get a life partner. What is the difficult he faces is the crux of this film.

'Gowri Puthra' is a joint venture of in Kadambari Movie Makers by Sowmasri wife of director Manju Masakal Matti and Rajiv H Urs.

Ramesh Bhat, Sihikahi Geetha, Malathi Sardeshpande, Pawan and others in the supporting roles. Milind Dharmaseha has composed the music and PL Ravi has handled the camera. Jagan haslent the story and Manju Maskalmatti has done the screenplay and dialogues for the film.

'Gowri Puthra' is set for release in the month of July 2012.
