The third film to release in 1965 'Sarvagnamurthy' a Niranjan Chitra, directed by Aroor Pattabhi and produced by Narendra Babu starring Rajakumar, Harini, Mynavathi, Varadaraj, Krishna Shastry, Udayakumar, Ashwath, Ganapathi Bhat and others is now repeated by Mathrubhumi Bhava Creations Smt Nagarathna as producer and her husband Shivakumar as director and screenplay writer.
'Sarvagna' born out of blessings of Sri Kali Devi is the 16th century philosopher, thinker with strong vision, Saint wrote 'Three Liners' in Kannada with terrific and touching meaning in it. He has written thousands of 'Tripadis' and director of this film with dialogue writer Dr B.S.Swamy support has picked 300 'Tripadis' and that has given the story for the content says Shivakumar. The findings of 'Sarvagna' as made by Uttaangi Channappa are only taken in to consideration. Shivakumar remembers the first meeting in 1969 and stated that it has been long cherished dream of making an authentic film on 'Sarvagna'. We are not taking anything from 'Sarvagnamurthy' made in 1965. We are adding 'Sarvagna' philosophical works for every scene and we included six songs from music director RJ Bhasker says Shivakumar.
Santosh a post graduate educated in Abhinaya Tharanga of AS Murthy in Hanumanthnagar for one year plays the title role. Running around trees is not my cup of tea. I want to give my beat. Theatre background is supporting for this kind of role says Santosh. He has accepted to shave his head for all the 45 days shoot.
Producer Smt Nagarathna Shivakumar says her husband has been working on the script since four years. 50 percent of locations have been already decided informed the producer.
In the supporting cast Thara, Pavithra Lokesh, Umasri, Jayasri, Sudharani, Sumathisri, Doddanna, Dingri Nagaraj, Ramakrishna, Srinivasamurthy, Sridhar, Sanjay, Ashok, Ramesh Bhat, Bank Janardhan, Umesh Biradar, Shanker Patil and others are in the cast.
Muthuraj is behind camera, Swami is the editor, new lyrics are added by Dr BS Swamy, Babu Khan is finding locations suitable to the 16th century.
