'Sholay' to go Norway

The big blockbuster of Bollywood and the evergreen superhit directorial of Ramesh Sippy, 'Sholay' is all set to make its way to the forthcoming Bollywood Festival Norway.
 
Reportedly, the festival this year is hosted with a view to celebrate 100 years of Indian Cinema.

Following this, it will screen some of the best works of Ray and other classic films, which reflects the true spirit of Cinema. And among these films is the Amitabh Bachchan-Dharmendra starrer 'Sholay'.
 
Incidentally, the film's leading lady Hema Malini has been invited to be the festival's chief guest, at its opening ceremony on 7th Sept.

The festival, which celebrates its tenth anniversary, will organise a dance show on 9th Sept.at Oslo Concert House.

The show will witness a classical dance presentation by Hema Malini's daughters Esha and Ahana Deol in Odissi and Bharatnatyam, while the veteran actress will preside the event as chief guest.
 
B-town celebrities namely Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Vidya Balan, Arshad Warsi, Manoj Bajpayee, Prem Chopra, Padmani Kolhapure and Sonakshi Sinha are among those who have graced the festival earlier.
