The national acclaimed director of Kannada cinema TS Nagabharana and his wife Naginibharana conducted five days workshop for children at Sydney in Australia under IAAFA invitation. The workshop was held from July 11 to 15. Sydney Mayor Lori inaugurated the workshop. Nethan Rich of Labor Party was present.
Indian Australian Art and Film Association evolved for the cultural exchange of Indian and Australia. The purpose of this workshop is to tell the budding children on the significance of culture, history and bridge the gap.
Balaji Venkatarangan and Jayaprakash are behind this workshop. Both were chosen for Labor Party. Jayaprakash is a resident of Australia since 10 years. He had taken responsibility of release of 'Habba' Kannada cinema and Dr Rajakumar 'Shabdavedi' was released by him in Australia. He has invited Puneeth Rajakumar, Dr C Ashwath and team in the past for the cultural programs.
For the participating children at the workshop TS Nagabharana taught the nuances of framing a story, expressing it, mirror game, imitation game, mono acting, theatre game and cinema related topics were given as lectures.
Ballet, Ranga Geethe of BV Karanth times, Huttidare Kannada Nadalli Huttabeku...song, dance drama were part of the cultural show for all the five days.
