In the novelty of making films Kannada cinema industry never lagged behind. A few days a film was shot in two and half an hour by director Aravind Kaushik for producer Anaji Nagaraj.

The news from young and vibrant Pawan Kumar director of successful film 'Lifu Ishtene' is that his film has bagged an international award even before completion of the film. 'Lucia' a film from the people for the people has been award 'Creative New Business Idea Award' by British Council.

'Lucia' under production Kannada cinema with novel approach in accruing funds for the film was one among the 150 films in the contest. The creative thought Pawan Kumar in getting 110 persons as producers for the film has struck as the pivotal point.

The award presentation celebration is taking place in the second week of October 2012 says Pawan Kumar. He is sharing the experience of his film in that event. The British Council is also expected the support the film 'Lucia' it is learnt.

'Lucia' has completed 60 percent of shooting. Ninasam Satish plays the lead. All characters in this film will be in double role. Two songs with new word building for the songs are penned by Yogaraj Bhat. Poorna Chandra is the music director.
