The handsome TV host turned actor Ayushmann Khurrana is proving how far multi-talented he can be.. After doing a fabulous work in his debut movie 'Vicky Donor', Ayushmann went on to bag two projects from two ace filmmakers.

Now, with a view to thank the director who launched him on big screen, the fresh actor is willing to be assistant director to the same person.

Buzz is that for his forthcoming film 'Jaffna' helmer Shoojit Sircar will have the assistance of Ayushmann - that will be produced by John Abraham (just like 'Vicky Donor').

The film, which revolves around the unrest in Sri Lanka's Jaffna and LTTE conflict, has John featuring as an intelligence officer.

Talks are that it was in fact Ayushmann who offered to assist Sircar as token of gratitude for giving him chance in 'Vicky Donor'.

However he won't be working on 'Jaffna' on full-length basis; but only for some part of the project.

Apparently, according to the director, the part which Ayushmann will be assisting Sircar is going be one of the trickiest part of the schedule as well as toughest part of the shooting.

Ayushmann is working on Rohit Shetty's 'Nautanki Saala' and Kunal Kohli's next production, to be directorial debut of Vicky Bahri.

Owing to these, the actor will not be able to dedicate full time to Sircar's project.

Still, he wanted to be part of the project since he shares a very good rapport with the director and John.
