'Agraja' inspired

One of the two Kannada film that was launched on the 66th Independence Day 'Agraja' is inspired from an award winning film disclosed the debutant director Srinandan. He is not ready to divulge like how Dwarakish Chitra 'Charulatha' was not informed at the muhurut that it is a remake of 'Alone'.

Great Indian Movie creator was launched via start of the film at Kanteerava Studio on Wednesday morning. Producer T Goverdhan is a well known editor in films. With his brother Venkatesh who hails from Andhra Pradesh he is investing a few crores on 'Agraja' that stars Jaggesh, Darshan, Kamana Jethmalani, Hardhika Shetty and Poornima in the lead roles.

According to director Srinandan it is a socially relevant film told in a dashing style. Jaggesh is of course senior but he is not 'Agraja'. Even DArshan who plays bureaucrat in this film is also not in the title role. He is in a special role. Like how the caption is given 'Just Follow Me' - director Srinandan says if you follow the film on the silver screen you would know who 'Agraja' is. Srinandan worked in Telugu films of director YV Chaudhary and Sagar. In Kannada he worked in 'IPC Section 300'.

According to Jaggesh the film deals with the sensitive issue. It is told in dashing style. Among the younger generation and the present system in the society there is a wide difference of opinion between 'Rulers and Ruled'. This is what the concept in a nutshell. There are scenes and clashes with Darshan and Jaggesh in this film. They quarrel on the issues. Both together pass a good result for the public that gets admiration says Jaggesh.

Nandan Raj is scoring music for the first and he is not aware of the language. Ramesh Babu is heading the camera.
