The sons of heroes coming to Kannada cinema are common. The daughters of heroines coming to cinema are very rare. Recently it was Soundaraya Jayamala from 'God Father' Kannada cinema. Aishwaraya Nag and Rishika Singh are other two examples.

Now it is Shravya - daughter of eminent director N Om Prakash Rao (director of over 25 Kannada films) and actress Rekha Das (of over 100 films). Although her parents are separated, Shravya is making debut in 'Loosugalu' Kannada cinema in the debut direction of Arun. She plays the Muslim character role with Srikanth of 'Olave Mandhara' Kannada cinema as counterpart.

Coming to cinema was my childhood dream. I am currently in 'Krishna Rukmini' television serial. I always wanted to come to cinema without any recommendations. Watching my performance, I am invited for a lead role of three heroines film 'Loosugalu' says Shravya.

'My goal in life is grow with hard and talent'. Minugu Thaare Kalpana is my favorite actress. In the traditional Saree Kalpana given her best and that is much talked even to this day. No Exposing for me like Kalpana Madam says Shravya.

Shravya, B.Pharma graduate speaking to a few media persons at Chitrakala Parishat that she has been cajoled badly in life. I want to answer such people from my work. Degradation I have faced in life at this young age. I would pay back from my talent says Shravya who is of course a heroine material for cinema.
