Happy birthday, Vishal!

As people are busy wishing Onashamsakal to one another, Vishal celebrates his birthday today (August 29). The assistant director turned actor will be celebrating his birthday with family and friends.

Last year saw both ups and downs for Vishal if one can say so, while 'Avan Ivan' strongly established the actor in him, what with Vishal acting as a squint eyed in a full length feature film, 'Vedi' didn't really work in the box-office.

Currently, Vishal has two promising films in the pipeline. He's working on 'Samar' with his 'Theeratha Vilayatu Pillai' director Thiru, Trisha and Sunaina. His pairing with Trisha made several headlines as the duo had to come together for many films earlier but it hadn't worked due to some reason or the other. Samar is an out and out action entertainer canned in various locales.

Meanwhile, he also has Madha Gaja Raja, with Sundar C Babu. The film is touted to be a laugh riot and Vishal shares screen space with Varalakshmi Sarathkumar and Anjali in it. Remember it's strongly rumored he's dating Varalakshmi?

Here's wishing the Avan Ivan actor a very happy birthday and success in all his films!
