Pookkutty approaches Big B

Rasul Pookuutty seems to have almost finalized his scripts for his debut film. Earlier he was after Anand's much acclaimed novel 'Govardhanante yathrakal', which he was planning to adapt for screen. But now the world famous sound designer has decided to launch himself with Amitabh Batchan on the cast lines. Amitabh Batchachan has recently admitted to the press that Pookuttycontacted him for the role of a Pakistani national in his debut film and he is yet to give his consent.
 
As per early reports  Rasul Pookkutty is planning to make an emotional subject, rather than a political one, which will tell more about the lives across the borders. The basic plot will be all about the relationship between a father and a son.

Not much is known about the languages in which this movie will be made and about the rest of the cast.
