The second year after the demise of Dr Vishnuvardhana the birth anniversary is celebrated on 18th of September with lot of zoom and zeal by Vibha Charitable Trust, Fans Association and Eleven NGO organizations.

Coinciding with the 62 birth anniversary of Sahasa Simha Dr Vishnuvardhana there are several events at Chitrakala Parishat , National College grounds Basavanagudi and at the Dr Vishnuvardhana Memorial adjacent to Abhiman Studio on the outskirts of Bangalore.

Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana addressing the crowded meet on Thursday afternoon at The Bell Hotel disclosed that while reading the newspapers everyday her husband was getting to know the help he was supposed to offer for that day. He was so sensitive. He used to immediately react to the needy of the society. So many support Dr Vishnu extended did not go on record because he believed in no publicity for such social service done. Now the super power of God has given strength to fulfill Dr Vishnu wish after his demise she opines.

At 10.30 am on 16th of September Dr Vishnuvardhana Memorial Lecture on 'Centenary of Indian film industry' - a lecture will be delivered by Dr Girish Kasaravalli.

The photo exhibition of real life and professional life will be for three days at Chitra Kala Parishat from 16th to 18th of September. The eleven NGO organizations Rotary Club, Lions Club, Narayana Hrudayalaya, Vibha Charitable Trust, Jana Shakthi, Mobility India, Help Age India, Child Line, Prerana, Awake, Helth Care Global, IAD, Adamya Chetana, Prakruthi, Suruchi, Vimochana have joined for social works at Dr Vishnuvardhana Memorial place next Balakrishna Abhiman Studio. It is on 17th and 18th of September 2012.

Sri Venkatesh (Giri) of Devarachikkanahalli is distributing food in no plastic containers, Cycle Rally from Rohith and Fans is starting from National College Basavanagudi to Dr Vishnu Memorial, 'Gowri and Ganesha' festival from Venkatesh with mud idols is performed, for good of everyone Sudarshana Homa by Sathya Vardhana and Fans is taking place, there will be musical evening at the memorial on that day. The needy students get note books for education on that day.
