Karnataka Film Industry is supporting the causes of Karnataka Farmers in the Cauvery water sharing issue that is dogged with problems over a century.
The Karnataka Bundh is observed on Saturday protesting against the release of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu is taking place with over 600 plus organizations support. Kannada Film Industry has also extended support in the Bundh call given.
On Saturday morning at 11 am the thousands of Kannada film industry persons of all departments assemble at KFCC office and the rally by silent walk is lead by B Vijayakumar, President of KFCC and Ambarish, President of Kannada Cinema Artists Association.
As a result there will be no shooting, post production and cinema exhibition in many parts of Karnataka. The Karnataka Television Association has also extended support and closing all entertainment channels for a day. There will be only news channel on Saturday.
Karnataka Television Association is joining at Ramakrishna Ashram and moving to KR Circle to reach Governor of Karnataka office situated on Raj Bhavan Road.
