Narayan Moves to Small Screen

One of the eminent directors, producer, actor and showed his excellence in writing story, screenplay, lyrics, dialogues in over 40 films and eight television serials - S Narayan come to television again.

Starting from 'Chaitrada Premanjali' in 1990 to 'Appayya' yet to release film S Narayan has a successful journey. Recently he announced quitting films out of frustration and he was convinced by bigwigs like Ambarish and others to return to cinema. Top films of S Narayan that made outstanding business in the entertainment field are - Chaitrada Premanjali, Thavarina Thottilu, Bhama Sathyabhama, Chandra Chakori, Ghalate Aliyandru, Cheluvina Chtittaara, Suvyavamsha, Veerappa Nayaka, Veera Parampare and others. He is also an exhibitor in his home town Bhadravathi.

Now S Narayan has not returned to small screen. The muhurut for his mega television serial 'Lakshmi Samsara' is taking place on last day of Dasara - Vijayadashami day in Bangalore.

For a family saga television serial S Narayan is roping in new talent. The title role of 'Lakshmi' is very strong and I am doing screen test for new talent he says.

In Television field S Narayan made a beginning from mega serial 'Parvathi'. He continued his innings in Ambika, Durga, Bhagurathi, Sumathi, Dum Dum Dum and Suryavamamsha.

'Lakshmi Samsara' is in the banner of Bhagyavathi Combines. It is S Narayan home product for home audience.
